Progress on the house

We have learned that you can't miss a day if you want to make sure you capture all the stages of the new house going up. The frame went up so quick we almost missed it.

Happy 7th Birthday Kaitlyn

Kaitlyn celebrated her 7th birthday the day we moved. Unfortunately it wasn't much of a birthday due to the move. We tried to make it special for her though. It was also our 11th anniversary that day. Happy birthday and anniversary, now go move ...)

Updates on the new house....

The new house is coming along so fast. We are so excited. Here are a few pictures from last week....

Were moved!

Well, we are finally moved. We are renting a home from some friends of ours until our new home is built. We just now got our internet service up and running. We feel a bit out of our element here. We just sit around and stare at all the boxes everywhere. The kids sure had a hard time leaving the old house. We decided to have one last family prayer in the living room before we left for the last time. The kids cried through the whole prayer. They made us promise that we would still drive past the old house from time to time so they could see it. We have lot's of memories in that little home. When we first moved in we only had McKenely. Four kids later, it was time to move out. We will miss it, but we are very excited about the new house.

Six Flags Fiesta Texas

We took the kids to Six Flags last Monday! They had a blast. Other then the heat, it turned out to be a pretty fun day.

Brynlie's first real meal....

Well, we held off as long as we could - It was time for our last baby to start real food. Brynlie is just growing up too fast. She is getting hungry all the time. We decided it was time to start her on rice cereal. Still hard to believe she is almost 5 months old already. As you can see, it was a hit!!!! :)

The wise man built his house upon the ROCK!

We have a foundation now!!!! How exciting is that! More pictures of the new house going up....We actually went out to see the latest and caught the builders on the day they were pouring the cement for the foundation. It was pretty fun to watch!

McKenely's first piano recital!!

McKenely played in her very first piano recital. She played her Grandpa Scott's favorite song..."Somewhere Over the Rainbow". No mistakes at all! Way to go McKenely!!

Well, our house sold! We are sad to see it go. It has been such a good house for us. We thought we would post some pictures of it all fancied up so we can always remember how great it looked.
