Our little girl is growing up...

So Brent and I are very proud of our little girl, (we are proud of all our kids). McKenely recently tried out for her schools Geo Bee. For those of you who don't know a GEO Bee is a Geography Bee. She was one of 17 students who made it on to the final round. She didn't make it all the way, but for her first year she did REALLY well!!! She also did her very first Science Project. She came up with the idea of growing crystals. Brent helped her with her project and I helped her put it all together. She was VERY excited when she came home and told us that she got first place!!! There were only 3 4th graders who received first place. She has also been invited to attend The Austin Science Festival. We are very excited and proud of her success. (Who would have thought that a child of mine would do well in science!!)
