A neverending story
So we are waiting for things to settle down, but it doesn't look like it will be any time soon. For those of you who may not of heard, Brent is no longer allowed to play basketball. EVER!!!! Due to the fact that he keeps ending up on the operating table. About three weeks ago Brent was playing ball with his friends and he was getting ready for a "pretty sweet" move when he realized his knee shouldn't bend sideways. He ended up tearing his ACL and cracking his meniscus. He will be going under the knife on Sept. 3rd. Since the ligament is completely destroyed he will have one donated from a cadavor, (he did request a Jamaican, cause they are so fast!!). The surgery won't be too bad, but the recovery on the other had is going to SUCK!!!! We were told that it would be a 3-4 month recovery. And for those of you who are doing the math we are moving in 1 month. SO when you figure the answer, let me know :)

Leslie- that is a sad, sad story! Wish we were there so we could help out. Tell Brent to take it easy for us!
Brent- Really, we would take our kids out of school and pull our boat all the way to Lake Travis if you weren't an invalid. Next year, when you are recovered with your new fake knee we will meet up at Lake Powell.
Leslie- I'm so sorry you now have a 6th kid. Who knew you would be so lucky!
Leslie- Yes, I think that it is time that Brent find a new signature move, how about the Wii.. sitting in a chair, only! Not even the facemask that Ben offered to make for him would have helped in this situation. Maybe I will send Ben down to move your family...I know that Ben wants to sneak into the surgery too,maybe he will just stay and work from there.
